Originating in Norwalk, California, Mika (they/them) was surrounded by Renaissance women, old radio music, and a deep love for human connection. 

They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre with an Honors in Acting from the University of California-Irvine in June of 2024.

Mika is constantly trying to advocate and make space for all voices. Performing continues to teach them how to own both softness and strength. Mika believes that it is important to remain genuine and authentic to yourself in a world where shapeshifting has become the norm. Theatre is about embracing differences. It is about empathy. More importantly, it is about people changing people. The most important words they have ever been told is the phrase “to lead with your heart light”. Mika brings that authentic magnetic energy into every space and rehearsal room they can.  

There are few things in this world that they love more than live music, a good fried pickle, and Doechii’s Alligator Bites Never Heal Album. In their free time, they can be found with a camera in hand, making a funky video, in a thrift store, a farmers market, or on the floor of their bedroom creating something fresh.
